Economy Exterminators was founded by two brothers, John and Joe Canning. When I started with the company 5 years ago, I would see Joe around the office. It was not until a few weeks in that was I informed that he had Huntington's Disease, something I at the time did not know much about. After researching what HD is and how it affects not just the individual but the families impacted by this, it brought me immense appreciation and even more respect for Joe. Knowing he persevered through those days just to show a presence in the building because of how much he loves his company was an even more obvious reason why I trust the Canning's and their strength not just as a family, but as proud business owners for such an incredible company. Although Joe has retired now, I reflect often on his strength and resilience and see that same strength in Greg Canning as he continues his father and uncle's legacy through Economy Exterminators.
