My HD Hero is my daughter Bella Licata. She was diagnosed with JHD just before her 11th birthday. She’s now 17 and faces mounting challenges due to JHD. She’s in her senior year of high school and thanks to a very supportive team she will be graduating with her peers this spring (2024). Bella is a bit of a foodie and she loves reading, traveling, Harry Potter, Marvel, dogs and most animals, and of course her family. She’s generous, kind, funny, smart and very very brave! As a family we’re trying to travel, experience, and make as many memories as possible.
